Properties and Applications:
The pure natural alginate fiber was made from marine algae and has good biocompatibility. In addition to its good moisture absorption and moisturizing properties, the molecular structure and metal ions also provide its whitening, anti-radiation, anti-aging and adsorption of residual heavy metals and toxic substances on skin surface. Based on development of functional mask which was made of Gellins○R alginate fiber, we also blended it with other mask fibers, such as copper ammonia fiber, Tencel, cotton fiber and bamboo fiber to produce mask material which has better functionality and comfort by spunlace process.
