Properties and Applications
X-ray detectable yarn can be used as a marker thread in the production of X-ray detectable gauze swabs and sponges.This product can be combined with both woven and nonwoven fabrics to give a clear image under X-ray,thus overcoming the problem of surgical gauzes being left behind in patient’s organs after surgery.Compared to traditional PVC based threads,X-ray detectable yarn is non-toxic with no side effects,and is safer and more reliable.The stable product performances can assure safety for surgical operations.Current colours are blue and black-other colours can be made available upon request.
